Day Shift: 9.00 am-6.00 am, 5 Day week -Mon to Fri

Job Position: Account Executive (AE), FAI Electronics Department

FAI Electronics is a division focused on providing High level, personalized services, and value selling to small, medium & emerging customers through Tele-mode
Position overview:
The FAI Electronics Account Executive (AE) is responsible to provide outstanding sales and service to new and emerging customers. The AE is the primary point of contact between FAI Electronics and the customer.

As a representative of FAI Electronics, the AE consistently acts in a professional, proactive and service-oriented manner with internal and external customers. The AE's role is to cultivate customer relationships via email, telephone conversations as well as through limited visits to the customers only when required.

The AE will proactively call customers, use call-out scripts, use customized reports and leverage the global quoting system to generate profitable sales. This will be accomplished by properly profiling customers, identifying customer hot buttons, and developing relationships, creating solutions, delivering timely quotations and providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Meet/Exceed specific Sales Targets Set- Monthly/weekly By Customers.
  • Sell across the entire product portfolio and services via telephone to customers within designated geographic area or industry or assigned accounts
  • Increase customer count and footprint through cold calls and outbound campaigns
  • Liase, negotiate and collaborate with Product Marketing and other internal departments for price guidance and allocation of product
  • Monitor and ensures on-time delivery exceeds internal metrics
  • Maintaining high quality standards for order accuracy and timely quote delivery
  • Proactively informs the customer of problematic deliveries as well as notification of delivery on "hot parts"
  • Request customer feedback on all opportunities and uses this data for future quotes and sales opportunities
  • Qualify leads accurately and ensures leads are handled appropriately
  •  Prepare activity reports for Management as required
  • Continuously develops product knowledge through formal training sessions as well as on-line training programs
  • Delight the customer through excellent relationship & high service levels
  • Desired Candidate Profile


Education & Experience:


  • University Degree/Diploma and 1 to 5 years of Experience.
  • Electronics Industry experience would be preferred.
  • Sales experience in a fast paced environment would be considered an asset
  • Fluency in English. The more languages known the better
  • Inside-sales/Tele-marketing/ Tele-Sales Experience would be an Advantage

  • Strong communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to write reports, e-mail and letters professionally as well as present information and respond to questions to internal and external customers
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with situations where limited information exists
